History shows that the usage of cloaks date back as far as the ancient Greek and Roman era’s. From then they have been worn in countless other societies and are still a predominant items of clothing even in the modern era. Overtime , cloaks have have developed into having three primary functions. PROTECTION,FASHION & REPRESENTATION. Cloaks acted as a form of protection from the weather , they were utilized as a means of complimenting outfits and certain cloaks were symbolic of status. Romans were a cloak type called a ‘toga’ as a virtous diplay of their citizenship. In the Aztec empire , the greatest warriors at the time wore a ‘tilmátil’ which was a representaion of their upper status. Cloaks were worn everywhere and citizens of any background would never leave their compounds without them. But what does all of this have to do with phone cases?

We would like to argue the point that phone cases offer very similar functions as cloaks did in the medieval ages.
